It's just the beginning of the season and Ma' Nature is showing up and showing off! Who can do it better?
I so appreciate living in a region that celebrates itself with the seasons. It's Autumn here and I am constantly wowed by Nature's color palette. Today, as we drove down the road, taking pics of these masterpieces, I joked with my friends, saying, "all year the trees are there, and no one really seems to notice them, until they begin to change.
As they sprout leaves in the Spring time, we say "they're getting overgrown", so we cut them back. They bloom and we say "pretty!" but too much pollen. In Autumn they change colors and we say "ooohhh!" until we remember "oh, soon I have to rake all these leaves!" And in Winter they're down to bare sticks and we say "they look dead".
I call this "The Battle of Opinions".
But regardless of what we may think, feel, or say, Nature does what it does and never stops changing. It's always A Season For Change. And in truth, would we really want it any other way?
Isn't it the same with us humans though? Too often we don't really notice each other, until something changes! Then all of a sudden people start being wowed, either in amazement or expressed disappointment.
This week in The Master Key Experience, the stakes increase. The task, for the entire week: have no opinions - not spoken, nor thought about, don't even raise an eyebrow (yeah, that's an opinion). Well for someone like me who thinks, "I'm nonjudgmental anyway", would also think this should be easy. That is until I realized that MY opinions were flying everywhere! I appease my ego with labels like compliments, kindness or helpful (when others ask of course). Nevertheless, they're still opinions.
But, we've chosen to interact with each other anyway, right? So, what if we made it a point every day, in even the smallest of ways, to be amazed by ourselves and each other, in a JUST BECAUSE type of way? When this becomes the norm - or a good habit - do you think 'efforted' opinions would become obsolete? Or would this be me instigating change based on my opinions? (Yes, I'm asking for your opinion here).
Until that happens, I'm mindful that any opinions I have must embrace change and uplift myself and others. Here's an excerpt from an awesome exchange with an MKE Alliance staff:
Empress Judith: "...I was thinking opinions are used as filters to what I believe or don't believe."
MKE Staff: "So, if I understand, you reserve the right to reject ideas that do not advance your goals. You do not express opinions (positive or negative) about people or events. Is that what you said?"
Empress Judith: "I'm saying I deserve [and reserve] the right to reject ideas that are outside of what my inner self knows to be true for me. Isn't that what we're doing here, reprogramming from other people's ideas that have become our habits? If an idea offers enlightenment/expansion of my highest truest self then in my opinion, that's worth my consideration. That's why we create Master Minds, correct? Others have a right to their own as well, so I'm mindful of that in my interactions. Understandably contrast is always present, so awareness of this also advances my goals or enlightens me to higher level."
MKE Staff: "That sounds like self-directed thinking..."
These days, I'm paying much more attention to my thoughts, a hint of emotion, a paused breath, anything that might be an opinion, even when not shared. Why? Because in recognizing my bliss, I love being a self-directed thinker and witnessing the natural occurring changes within myself!
Today, my friends and I found even more things and ideas to enjoy as we headed to our destination. Together, we agreed we wouldn't have it any other way, with Nature and with ourselves.
Yes, this is the Season for Change! Thank you Divine Nature, my greatest and best guide into self-inspection, -reflection and -expansion. Even when I'm not paying attention to you, you are friendly to my needs, so much that you place on my path Prophets and Masters as those within my family, friends and The Master Key Alliance.
In deep Love and Gratitude!
